Aurelia St. James is a spicy contemporary romance author based in Maryland. She lives with her husband, two beautiful girls, and one fluffy cat. As someone who has dealt with her own struggles in mental health, writing her female heroines allows her to tackle her own insecurities while hopefully reaching readers who can relate to the characters' struggles.

When she needs inspiration, music gets the creative juices flowing and also brings her characters to life on the page. Even though writing has always been a passion, she wasn't published until a little later in life. But that's just given her more motivation to push forward, and show her daughters that dreams don't have an expiration date.
